Our certifications demonstrate RM Steel’s commitment to quality, safety, environmental responsibility and consistent workmanship across every stage of our steel fabrication process.

We are certified by SCCS, a UKAS-accredited certification body, for BS EN 1090, BS EN ISO 3834, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Certification applies only to the activities, locations and scopes stated on our certificates.

BS EN 1090-1

Structural Steelwork Certification

BS EN 1090-1 covers the conformity assessment of structural steel and aluminium components used in construction. Our certification demonstrates that RM Steel has the required factory production control processes in place to manufacture structural steelwork to recognised standards for performance, safety and traceability.

BS EN ISO 3834

Welding Quality Requirements

BS EN ISO 3834 sets out quality requirements for the fusion welding of metallic materials. This certification demonstrates that our welding operations are controlled, consistent and supported by appropriate procedures, inspection, and quality control.

ISO 9001

Quality Management

Health & Safety Approved

SSIP is a recognised framework for assessing health and safety competence within the supply chain. It demonstrates RM Steel’s commitment to maintaining effective health and safety arrangements, meeting recognised industry requirements and continually improving how risks are managed across our operations.
